SOUTH AFRICA, June 22, 2022 (press release) — Newton Agency is very proud to announce the signing of NCAA Division I Male Track Athlete of the Year, Joseph Fahnbulleh.
This season Joseph achieved a double sprints victory in the 100m and 200m NCAA Division I Track & Field Championships, in new PB times of 10.00 and 19.83s respectively.
He also made his Olympic debut in Tokyo last year, and at only 19 years old, placed 5th in the 200m – breaking the Liberian National record in the process. He was also given the honour of being the flag bearer for Liberia at the opening ceremony.
Lee-Roy Newton, MD of Newton Agency, was excited to have Joseph join the Newton family, saying “Joe is an immensely powerful athlete, and his performances have shown that he is a star in the making. We are proud to be taking these first steps with him as a professional athlete, and are looking forward to walking the journey with him and supporting him in achieving his dreams.”

Joseph is now preparing for the World Championships taking place in Oregon, USA in July.
