Over the weekend, Robert Morris University(RMU) inducted Liberia’s Musa Shannon into their Hall of Fame for the second time. Shannon graduated from the school in 1996. Then he went on to have a successful professional football career. During his career he played for Liberia’s national team. He also played for other international teams.
RMU first inducted Shannon in 2002 as an individual. This time around, Shannon was inducted along with RMU’s 1993 men’s soccer team. During the ’93 season the RMU team posted a 14-7-1 record. As a result they tied third in the Northeast Conference.
